2015年9月由Don大師設計、Meinl 公司製造的天堂八方鏡面鑼(Eight Corners of Heaven Mirror Gong）在斯洛維尼亞銅鑼和平篷車巡演前，正式發佈這顆有助於進行譚崔冥想的特殊銅鑼。銅鑼與戲劇結合培訓則是在2016年8月英國整體共振國際銅鑼師初階培訓工作坊納入到 Don大師全球教學體系之中，當時這個想法是由英國與法國地區培訓主辦者暨西班牙歌劇院戲劇總監 Robert Harwell 與 Don大師共同構思設計，帶領學員戴上英國面具大師 Mike Chase 所創作的五種表情面具(https://www.mikechasemasks.com/) 在天堂八方鏡面鑼的鑼陣中，感受面具與鏡面鑼相互照應促成內在情緒的轉變。

同年九月在西班牙馬德里劇場舉辦的整體共振國際銅鑼師培訓最後一天，在劇院演出了『譚崔鏡面鑼與面具之戲劇 (Maha Mirror Tantric and Mask in Madrid)』，這場戲劇只屬於工作坊的一部分，並沒有對外公開演出。

In September 2015, Grand Gongmaster Don Conreaux unveiled the “Eight Corners of Heaven Mirror Gong,” a unique gong designed for Tantric meditation, manufactured by the Meinl company. The gong’s official release took place just before the Slovenian Gong Peace Caravan Tour.

The integration of gong and theatre training was formally introduced into Don’s global curriculum in August 2016, during the Introductory International Gong Master Training in Holistic Resonance held in the UK.

The concept was co-developed by Robert Harwell—training coordinator for the UK and France and Artistic Director at a Spanish opera house—and Don Conreaux. Together, they guided participants through an expressive journey using five emotion-based masks created by renowned British mask master Mike Chase (mikechasemasks.com).

Participants wore these theatrical masks inside a gong mandala formed by the Eight Corners of Heaven Mirror Gong, exploring the dynamic interplay between mask and mirror gong to catalyze inner emotional transformation.

In September of the same year, on the final day of the International Gong Master Training in Madrid, Spain, participants staged a private theatrical performance titled:

“Maha Mirror: Tantric and Mask in Madrid.”

This performance was exclusive to workshop participants and was not open to the public.

2023年3月5日晚上铜锣宇宙乐坊在高雄大东文化艺术中心演艺厅发表『虚实不二：八方镜面铜锣戏剧』，该剧是知名青年戏剧家张逸军老师与 Julie老师共同创作指导，45位铜锣师或音疗师在参与三天培训课程之后所做的成果发表会。此剧的面具是特别商请汇川聚场创办人张忘艺术家负责设计与制作，他融入东方特有的宁静感与柔和感，展现出与英国面具不同风情的内在心绪面貌。

这次铜锣戏剧将在苏州保利大剧院演出，学员将各自抽签分配到三大戏剧群组中，听从各组导演的演出培训指引进行创作，第一组由 Christof 与熊茵老师两位担任主培训师，搭配 Paiste 全套行星锣与若干交响锣进行演出；第二组由 Alicija 与 Ricard 两位老师担任主培训师，搭配 Tone of Life 全套九颗铜锣进行演出；第三组由张忘老师与 Julie 老师担任主培训师，搭配铜锣宇宙乐坊五行系列、玄空系列与 Don签名锣系列，总计十颗铜锣进行演出。

此次铜锣戏剧还是由Julie老师担任制作人，Don老师担任总导演，郑惠中老师担任服装设计总监、张忘老师担任舞台与美术设计总监，郑国扬老师担任灯光设计总监，林佳兴老师担任影音设计总监，荣绍宇老师担任音乐设计总监，庄荣华老师担任摄影总监，这不仅是 2023年台湾技术团队全员到齐，更增添几位资深舞台工作人员，让大家尽情地挥洒艺术想象力，由技术团队打造一场，具有梦幻美丽的灯光、色彩缤纷的舞台、刻画入神的面具、磅礴声势的道具等舞台，为大家完美的演出留下精美的数码影音资料。

March 5, 2023 – Gong Cosmos Presents

"Multiverse in Emptiness: The Eight Corners Mirror Gong Theatre"
Performed at the Kaohsiung Dadong Arts Center Performance Hall

On the evening of March 5, 2023, Gong Cosmos Music House premiered the original theatrical production “Multiverse in Emptiness: The Eight Corners Mirror Gong Theatre” at the Kaohsiung Dadong Arts Center.

This work was co-created and co-directed by renowned young theater artist Professor Zhang Yijun and Julie Chiu, following a 3-day intensive training course with 45 participating gong masters and sound healers. The production was the culmination of their creative exploration.

The masks used in the performance were specially designed and crafted by artist Zhang Wang, founder of Huichuan Gathering Theater, who infused the pieces with the subtlety and stillness of Eastern aesthetics, offering a unique inner emotional expression distinct from the more archetypal British mask styles.

Upcoming 2025 Performance – Suzhou Poly Grand Theatre

The next staging of this Gong Theatre production will take place at the Suzhou Poly Grand Theatre. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three theatrical ensembles, each mentored by a team of directors and trainers.
